Legendary Boston radio personality and Beatle historian Cha-Chi Loprete has teamed up with award-winning magician John Logan to create Come Together: A Night of Beatles Magic, Mystery & History at City Winery Boston on Monday, September 12 – which was 58 years to the night The Beatles performed at the Boston Garden in 1964.

With the Summer Open Exhibition currently taking place at the Salisbury Arts Centre until 3rd September, Wiltshire Creative has announced its autumn/winter line up. A fantastic programme of comedy, music, theatre, and performance art has been mapped out from 10th September until 14th January.

Two music shows which celebrate the talent of a pair of legendary musicians are set to be staged at the Assembly Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. 

From March 18th through March 20th, Special Guest Artist Mesner Puppet Theater is set to present 'RINGO'S SING-ALONG ROAD TRIP'. Join travelin’ John Paul George (puppeteer Mike Horner) and his singing dog Ringo on an interactive, musical road trip. Audiences are encouraged to sing, clap, and stomp along as the duo performs such favorites as “B-I-N-G-O,” “Wheels on the Bus,” and “Do Your Ears Hang Low?”  They’re joined by...a dancing chicken! This program is recommended for ages 3 and up.

The original drum kit used in the Quarry Men, the pre-Beatles group formed by John Lennon and Madonna’s iconic “Material Girl” pink gown ensemble, will headline a lineup featuring over 1,000 spectacular collectibles and memorabilia owned and used by some of the world’s most influential and music artists of our time will be offered.

Today the RSC announced the death of Sir Antony Sher, Honorary Associate Artist and husband of Artistic Director, Gregory Doran. Antony was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year with Gregory taking compassionate leave from his role in September to care for Antony.
