Recently named Label of the Year at the 2022 A2IM Librea Awards, Oh Boy will release pressings of two of John Prine’s albums: Aimless Love (1984)—Prine’s first full-length album, which was completely fan-funded and launched the label—will be released August 26, while the GRAMMY-nominated, German Afternoons (1986), will be available September 16.

The first track to be released is South London vocalist Ego Ella May’s reimagining of visionary drummer Chico Hamilton’s “The Morning Side Of Love,” which first appeared on Hamilton’s 1975 Blue Note album Peregrinations. Mirroring the understated, laid-back groove of the original while showcasing Ella May’s arresting vocals.

Regina Spektor is debuting the track “Loveology,” a much beloved and previously unreleased song which will be featured on her forthcoming album, Home, before and after. The 15 songs shine a light on Calling Cadence's strength as a live act, blending Oscar and Rae's voices with vintage keyboards. Musicians on the album include: Josh Adams on drums (Jon Batiste, Norah Jones, Beck), Mitchell Yoshida on keyboards (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros), and Elijah Thomson on bass (Father John Misty, Nathaniel Rateliff).

Spektor’s highly anticipated eighth studio LP Home, before and after is set for release June 24 on Warner Records. On July 19, Spektor will be playing a special Carnegie Hall show in New York City.
