National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced this year's directors, musical directors and casting for their 32nd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, on Thursday, November 19 and Friday, November 20, 2020. Due to the pandemic, the Festival will be reimagined and shared online through Broadway On Demand. Events will kick off on November 17.

Sunday Storytimes: Mixing It Up brings new light to muti-racial and biracial stories with guest host Erin Quill from the original Broadway cast of Avenue Q. Erin will interview fellow actor, Zachary Noah Piser on his ascent to Broadway, racial identity, representation onstage and onscreen, & talking to kids about acknowledging others' identities.

Theatre Major, a Maryland-based acting and educational consulting company, unveiled its new lineup of coaches for the fall college audition season.

Kate Hall & Gary Lynch and The Lisa Cleff Kurtz and Michael Kurtz Foundation, in association with Less Than Rent Theatre, will release the studio cast recording of American Morning, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang.

GREEN ROOM 42 will present The Dogs of Pripyat in concert on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 7:00PM, as part of the GR42 New Works Series. Inspired by the true story of the abandoned dogs of Chernobyl who learned to survive and even thrive under unimaginable circumstances, The Dogs of Pripyat is an evening of heartbreak, hope, and humor that explores the inextinguishable desire in all of us to live when life seems least possible.

EASTBOUND by Cheeyang Ng (book/music) and Khiyon Hursey (book/lyrics) will be presented in concert at Joe's Pub on January 18 (Saturday), 9:30pm.

In The Works is be presented monthly and feature three composers or composer teams, each presenting about 20 minutes of new material. This month features the works of composers: Seth Christenfeld, Sophie Danis Oberfield & Fernanda Douglas, and Kyle Segar & David Kornfeld. Special Guest: Amy Engelhardt. Hosted by: Thomas Honeck.

Zachary Noah Piser will join the Broadway company of Dear Evan Hansen on November 26, 2019 as the 'Evan alternate', playing his first performance as Evan at the matinee on Wednesday, November 27.

Festival producers Doug Nevin and Michael Urie, in partnership with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, are proud to announce an additional reading to the Festival line-up, as well as additional casting for Pride Plays, an upcoming festival of play readings to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.  Nick Mayo serves as Festival Director.

New York Theatre Barn's 12th season launches with its signature New Works Series on Monday, February 4th, 2019, presenting pre-premieres of two new musicals. Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels) and Zachary Noah Piser (Dear Evan Hansen, Sweeney Todd, Wicked) lead the cast of Postcard American Town, which will be presented with the musical Ramona.

To launch New York Theatre Barn's 12th season, the company will produce a reading of the new musical Eastbound on January 12th and 13th, 2019 led by Zachary Noah Piser (B'way: Wicked; Off-B'way: Sweeney Todd).
