Food Network gets competitive this August testing contestants of all ages and abilities on their cooking, grilling and baking skills! Kicking off the action on Sunday, August 5th at 8pm is the premiere of Ultimate Summer Cook-Off hosted by Eddie Jackson and featuring six competitors taking on America's summertime favorites in a bid for the grand prize and backyard bragging rights. Then, it is the grand finale of Food Network Star when Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay crown the winner on Sunday, August 5th at 9pm. Then, a new season of Kids Baking Championship begins on Monday, August 6th at 9pm, when hosts Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman give nine young bakers the chance to compete for the title and $25,000 prize. Cupcake designer Ashley Foxen is taking viewers inside her New York City bakery, where she is known for making some of the most unique and imaginative cupcakes in the world, on the new seriesReality Cupcakes premiering with back to back episodes on Monday, August 6th at 10pm and 10:30pm. Actors Trade Villain Roles Nightly In Philadelphia Artists' MARIA MARTEN

Philadelphia Artists' Collective will conclude their 2017-2018 season with Maria Marten, or, The Murder in the Red Barn, by Anonymous, from June 6 to June 24, 2018, at The Louis Bluver Theatre at The Drake. A tale of love, revenge and murder with a village idiot and the epitome of all villains, this show will make you boo, hiss, guffaw and cheer. Dastardly deeds, family forgiveness and a Wanderer's curse all lead to one blisteringly ridiculous climax in the highest style of the Victorian melodramas. Only the highest of the low for PAC, Co-Founders Dan Hodge and Damon Bonetti will trade the roles of the fool and the villain each performance for a truly outrageous night in the theatre. Which will play the villain on opening night? Audiences can cast their vote and help decide ahead of the show. Maria Marten will be directed by Charlotte Northeast. The role of Maria will be played by PAC newcomer Victoria Aaliyah Goins, who has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America's Got Talent, and The Voice.

The Byrd Hoffman Water Mill Foundation celebrated its 23rd Annual Summer Benefit & Auction, a one-of-a-kind evening bringing together over 1,000 guests from the worlds of theater, art, performance, fashion, design, and society at The Watermill Center on Saturday, July 30. The event, entitled FADA: HOUSE OF MADNESS, featured new works by Watermill's International Summer Program participants that came from over 25 countries to create installations and performances throughout the eight and-a-half acre grounds. This year, The Watermill Center honored Madame Giancarla Berti.

Under the leadership of Music Director James Conlon, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival Chorus (Robert Porco, director) recorded R. Nathaniel Dett's oratorio, The Ordering of Moses, live at Carnegie Hall in May 2014 during the beloved invitational Spring for Music Festival.
