The new musical A WALK ON THE MOON, based on the 1999 film written by Pamela Gary, does a fine job of telling its story, and patrons will have a good time at this nice musical. In the era of making things great again are fine, good, and nice enuf?

A WALK ON THE MOON-based on the Miramax and Village Roadshow Pictures film of the same name-is currently making its world premiere at American Conservatory Theater's Geary Theater now through July 1, 2018. Get a first look at the production below!

Rehearsals are in full swing for the world-premiere musical A Walk on the Moon-based on the Miramax and Village Roadshow Pictures film of the same name-performing at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater June 9-July 1, 2018.

Closing out the 2017-18 season, A.C.T. will present the world-premiere musical, A Walk on the Moon (June 6-July 1, 2018),based on the Miramax and Village Roadshow Pictures motion picture of the same name. In the summer of '69, America is on the brink of change. In the cities, crowds are protesting the Vietnam War. In the skies, Apollo 11 is speeding towards the first moon landing.

TheaterWork's production of the musical "Next to Normal" led the nominations for the 27th annual Connecticut Critics Circle Awards event to be held Monday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield.

TheaterWorks announced today that NEXT TO NORMAL will extend again through May 14, 2017.

Anyone who knows me knows I am passionate about the theatre and about the rare and radiant feeling that can only come from a few hours in a darkened space connecting on an emotional level both with a set of actors and those around you sharing that common experience. Sometimes a play gets it right, sometimes it doesn't, but sometimes a production comes along that is something else altogether.
