Jinkx Monsoon is booked and busy. On top of her stage appearances, she is also appearing in the latest season of Doctor Who. In The Devil’s Chord episode, now available on Disney+, Jinkx plays the villainess Maestro, the master of all music. BroadwayWorld sat down with Jinkx to discuss her role in Doctor Who, the difference between performing on stage and on screen, and what is next for the Broadway star.

The cast has been set for the National Theatre's production of The Importance of Being Earnest.The cast will be led by Richard Cant as Reverend Canon Chasuble, Sharon D Clarke  as Lady Bracknell, Ncuti Gatwa as Algernon Moncrieff, Amanda Lawrence as Miss Prism, and Hugh Skinner as Jack Worthing. 

Disney+ has released the trailer for the new season of Doctor Who, featuring a first look at Jinkx Monsoon in the series. Ryan Gosling is officially bringing Ken to the Oscars. The La La Land actor, nominated for his role in Barbie, will be performing the film's 'I'm Just Ken' at this year's Oscars. The Mark Ronson-produced power ballad is also nominated for Best Original Song, as is 'What Was I Made For?' by Billie Eilish.

Dua Lipa is set to release 'Dance the Night,' a new single from the upcoming Barbie movie soundtrack, this Friday. The song will be released at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 25.
