Perkins 28 Productions presents 'Veritas' by Stan Richardson at HERE Arts Center Mainstage Theater, 145 6th Avenue (enter on Dominick, 1 blk south of Spring) Inspired by true events, 'Veritas' is the story of a group of young men at Harvard in 1920 whose promising futures fell prey to Harvard's 'Secret Court': a gay witch-hunt conducted by school administration to purge Harvard of all homosexuality. The talented cast includes Justin Blanchard, Paul Downs Colaizzo, Mitch Dean, Morgan Karr, Doug Kreeger, Eric Nelsen, Matt Steiner, Jesse Swenson, Sam Underwood, and Joseph Yeargain. It is directed by Ryan J Davis, with costumes by Matthew Pachtman, lighting by Brian Tovar. Nathan Vernon is the associate producer, with casting by Daryl Eisenberg; assistant director is Alex Jensen and Adam J. Thompson is the dramaturg. The stage manager is Corey Philips and Maria de Cesare is the website designer. Two new cast members - Chase Peacock (Broadway: American Idiot, Papermill: High School Musical) and Chad Hoeppner (Broadway: Come Back Little Sheba, Butley) join Matt Doyle (Broadway: Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie), Tate Ellington (Broadway: The Philanthropist; Film: Remember Me), Eric Nelson (Broadway: 13), Mitch Dean (Altar Boyz), Blake Daniel (Broadway: Spring Awakening), Matt Steiner (The Acting Company's Jane Eyre), Wayne Wilcox (Broadway: Coram Boy, TV: Gilmore Girls), and Christian Coulson (Film: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets).

A special benefit reading of Stan Richardson's Veritas, for Lambda Legal, starring Tate Ellington (Broadway: The Philanthropist; Film: Remember Me), Mitch Dean (Altar Boyz), Matt Steiner (The Acting Company's Jane Eyre) and directed by Ryan J. Davis (White Noise, Broadway Beauty Pageants) will perform on Tuesday, May 25th at 8PM. This performance will include music by Rachel Peters (Stretch [a fantasia]) freely adapted from the Harvard Song Book.

On Wednesday, January 6, the current cast of ALTAR BOYZ, in addition to cast alum, presented a $203,916 check to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids that the show raised for the organization at New World Stages.

The record-breaking movie debuted on August 17, 2007 and was seen by 17.2 million viewers, making it the most-watched basic-cable telecast in history. Over 3,500 licensed productions of High School Musical: On Stage, the first part in the series, have been produced in the United States and abroad making the title one of the most popular available from Disney.

NSMT is thrilled to bring you and your family the New England Regional Premiere of DISNEY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, a fun and fresh new stage version of the record breaking Disney Channel Original Movie. School is out and Troy, Gabriella, and the rest of the Wildcats are spending the summer working at the Lava Springs Country Club which was founded by Ryan and Sharpay's family! With the club's annual talent show right around the corner, things begin to heat up as Troy agrees to sing with Sharpay. Will Troy and Gabriella realize that they're meant to be? Or is it already too late for them to sing one last song together? This musical phenomenon is still going strong and will take over the NSMT stage from December 18 through January 11.

It may be cold outside but it will feel like summer inside North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) as it is transformed into the Lava Springs Country Club for DISNEY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2. Following the first Disney High School Musical success last summer, NSMT is pleased to present the second regional production and the New England premiere of DISNEY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 from December 18, 2008 through January 11, 2009.
