Broadway Records has announced the studio cast recording of Jorge Rivera-Herrans' new musical My Heart Says Go, available on all digital platforms on May 5, 2023.

Recording is underway on a concept album for the new musical MY HEART SAYS GO featuring industry veterans Javier Muñoz and Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller.

Brittney Johnson has announced her departure from Wicked. She will play her final performance as Glinda on February 12, 2023, she has announced on social media.

Just last month, Brittney Johnson took her first bow as Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, making her the first Black actress to assume the iconic role. Johnson joined the cast opposite Lindsay Pearce as Elphaba, Alexandra Billings as Madame Morrible, Michael McCormick as The Wizard, Sam Gravitte as Fiyero, Jordan Barrow as Boq, Mili Diaz as Nessarose, and Michael X. Martin as Doctor Dillamond.

This morning, Brittney Johnson appeared on the Today Show to discuss being the first Black woman to take over the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. Johnson was surprised by original 'Glinda' Kristin Chenoweth, who sent in a congratulatory video message. She also appeared on NBC Nightly News to take viewers backstage at Wicked.

Brittney Johnson has appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables (Eponine), Motown, Sunset Boulevard, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls. She stars opposite Lindsay Pearce as Elphaba, Alexandra Billings as Madame Morrible, Michael McCormick as The Wizard, Sam Gravitte as Fiyero, Jordan Barrow as Boq, Mili Diaz as Nessarose, and Michael X. Last night, Wicked was one of four beloved musicals to resume performances on Broadway, following a 18-month hiatus. To celebrate the occasion, composer Stephen Schwartz and original Glinda, Kristin Chenoweth, were on hand at the Gershwin Theatre. Watch as Kristin speaks to the crowd, the cast performs their opening number, and takes their first bows since March 2020.
