Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that on Thursday, May 22, the historic Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students as the Great White Way's leading arts education non-profit partners with the Tony Award-nominated production of Motown the Musical to offer two exclusive Creating the Magic events taking place at 10:45am and 1:15pm.

Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that they have elected several new members to its Board of Directors as of January 1, 2014: President of LOCAL 802 AFM Tino Gagliardi; Managing Director for JP Morgan Private Bank-Global Investment Opportunities Group Adam Gross; Tony Award-winning Producer Jamie deRoy; John M. Diaz, Sr., Vice President, Local One, IATSE; Martin J. McLaughlin, Principle at the firm Connelly, McLaughlin & Woloz (McLaughlin also served as press secretary to Manhattan Borough President Andrew Stein and Mayor Ed Koch); and Joseph Cozza, Catering Sales Leader, Marriott, Inc.

Inside Broadway, 802 Musicians Union to Offer Summer Camp to NYC Public School Students Next Month

Next month, the Great White Way's leading arts-education organization Inside Broadway and the largest local union of professional musicians in the world, Local 802 AFM, will offer a special "Summer Stock Jr." Camp from August 19-23 for 12 lucky NYC public school students from Brooklyn ages 12-16. During the program, the students will be working with Inside Broadway teaching artists and members of Local 802; this is the fifth year of the program and the third year Inside Broadway has partnered with Local 802 AFM and the program is completely free for participating students.
