Music Mountain Opens 88th Summer of Chamber & Twilight Music

Chamber & Jazz music enthusiasts will want to mark their calendars for the start of Music Mountain's 88th Season! Music Mountain President, Nicholas Gordon announced America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival will kick off on June 11th with a summer featuring Beethoven and favorite Piano Quintets! The Summer Season will also welcome the award-winning clarinetist Oskar Espina-Ruiz as the new Artistic Director for the organization. Concerts are scheduled through September 17th. The exhibition features the lush paintings of London- and Nairobi-based artist Michael Armitage, who merges European styles with East African subjects, materials, and perspectives. MATRIX 263 debuts a new body of work in which Armitage reflects on sexuality and gender stereotypes in Kenya.
