In 1975 E. L. Doctorow wrote an epic novel that encompassed racism, immigration, feminism, the unequal distribution of wealth, and the hope of 'The American Dream.' Terrence McNally took that story to the stage with music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. Omaha Community Playhouse reprises that monumental musical from its own memorable run 13 years ago on its stage.

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas has announced their 2019-2020 season to be produced at their award-winning theatre in the heart of the metroplex located at Irving Arts Center (3333 N MacArthur Blvd., Irving TX). When children take classes at Dallas Children's Theater (DCT), the results are nothing less than astonishing. Audiences can see the magic that students enrolled in the DCT Academy create after just two weeks of work when over 30 students come together in the all-youth cast production of Disney's ALICE IN WONDERLAND. For three performances only, public audiences will travel down the rabbit hole to join Alice and DCT Academy students on madcap adventures in a musical that features updated songs from Disney's thrilling animated motion picture. ALICE IN WONDERLAND opens at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts on Friday, July 27, 2018.

Broadway Sessions welcomes University of Alabama grads and alum, 3/13
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This week, on a special Tuesday night, March 13th, Broadway Sessions welcomes the 2018 graduating MT class from the University of Alabama alongside successful Alabama alums.
