The Magic School Bus is heading to outer space and young theater goers are invited to go along for the ride! Theatreworks USA presents its new original musical "The Magic School Bus - Lost in the Solar System" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Virginia Repertory Theatre should be applauded for its effort to produce new works in Richmond. If its critically-acclaimed productions of David L. Robbins' The End of War and last year's River Ditty were giant steps toward elevating the status of Central Virginia's premier regional theatre, then its unbaked 'developmental' production of Atlantis, produced in partnership with Greg Schaffert and Glass Half Full Productions, is something of a misstep.

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, proudly presents the next event in the 2018-2019 Family Series Season: The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System from TheaterworksUSA on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00AM. The Magic School Bus is part of BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center's 2018-2019 Family Theater Season, featuring plays, musicals, puppetry, concerts and dance for all ages.

TheaterWorksUSA will end their successful season at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center with their original musical adaptation of the beloved book Magic School Bus: Lost In The Solar System. For over 50 years TheaterWorksUSA has presented family-friendly adaptations of celebrated books on stages across the country. This fall, TheaterWorksUSA will be offering its trademark brand of quality entertainment in New York as they partner with BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center (199 Chambers St, New York, NY 10007) to present four shows based on beloved children's books Charlotte's Web, Pete the Cat, Dragons Love Tacos & The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System.

SHEL: A Historically Fictionalized Musical will be the latest new musical to benefit from Broadway Dreams' New Works Development Project. With a book, music, and lyrics by Noah Kieserman, SHEL will receive workshops this summer at Theatre Calgary in Canada, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, NC, and the Herb Alpert Center at Harlem School of the Arts in NYC as part of the non-profit's Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, The Hits Reimagined.
