The Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre is pleased to present the World Premiere musical Looking for Home, A Story About the Orphan Trains, a touching, musically rich entry written by Mary Murfitt, also author of the book by the same title, November 4 - 13 at the Laguna Playhouse.

FST's hit country musical Cowgirls has been extended through July 17, due to popular demand. The 'energetic' musical is under the direction of Mary Murfitt (concept of COWGIRLS/composer/lyricist) and music direction by Mary Ehlinger (musical arrangments for COWGIRLS), and brings together six talented actresses-singers-musicians 'for a thoroughly enjoyable evening of musical theatre.' Florida Studio Theatre Presents COWGIRLS, 6/8

Grab your boots and hold onto your cowboy hats, the off-Broadway country musical Cowgirls kicks off the Florida Studio Theatre 2011 Summer Season this June. The musical comedy with a big heart is the brainchild of playwright Mary Murfitt, with music and lyrics by Ms. Murfitt, a book by Betsy Howie, and musical arrangements by Mary Ehlinger. COWGIRLS plays preview performances June 8 and 9, with a press opening June 10 in the Keating Theatre. Single tickets are priced $32 - $34 and can be purchased online at floridastudiotheatre.org or by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.
