Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts, in partnership with Eastville Community Historical Society and the Southampton African American Museum, is pleased to announce the online world premiere of In Case You Hadn't Heard: A Conversation Between America's Past And Its Promise, a provocative view of race in America, on Monday, February 22, at 8 p.m. EST at baystreet.org.

Hattiloo Theatre has announced Say It Loud, a free virtual Black History speech series. The series will run from February 2, 2021.

The League of Professional Theatre Women will present an Oral History Project event with the award-winning composer, lyricist, playwright, and actress Micki Grant on Monday, November 16 at 6pm on Zoom. Admission to the event is FREE. The interview with Ms. Grant has been prerecorded, and will be followed by a live Q&A.

The New York Times has commissioned and is producing Finish the Fight, a masterful theatrical production in which acclaimed playwright Ming Peiffer, 2020 OBIE-winning director Whitney White, and a cast of celebrated actresses bring to theatrical life the biographies of lesser-known activists who helped to win voting rights for women.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announces the four Palm Beach County public elementary schools that have been selected to participate in its 2019-2020 Disney Musicals in Schools program.

There has never been a lack of extraordinary talent at United Solo. Year by year, audiences have witnessed some of the most amazing solo artists from all over the world share their talents and stories. FIRST BY FAITH: THE LIFE OF MARY MCLEOD BETHUNE, written and performed by Richarda Abrams, returns to New York's West End Theatre June 28 - July 21, 2019, after debuting at the 2018 United Solo Theatre Festival winning the Best Educational Show Award.

The Flea Theater is proud to announce the addition of six new Resident Directors to its intensive practicum for early-career directors. Rebecca Aparicio, Jake Beckhard, Daniella Caggiano, Lauren DeLeon, Will Steinberger, and Raz Golden will join the current group of Resident Directors.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts hosted its second Student Share Celebration for the Disney Musicals in Schools program on Tuesday, April 2. More than 150 students from four local Title I elementary schools performed in the showcase for hundreds of family and friends. The showcase took place in the Center's Dreyfoos Hall.
