SISTER ACT Concludes the 2017 Music Circus Season

The 67th Music Circus season continues with the feel-good musical comedy Sister Act, featuring an infectious score by Tony and Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken. Based on the hit 1992 film, this musical will fill the round stage with saintly sisters for the first time in Music Circus history. Performances of Sister Act are Tuesday, August 22 through Sunday, August 27 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

ZviDance returns to Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival with their newest collaborative work Escher/Bacon/Rothko on the Doris Duke Theatre stage, July 20-24. In this riveting mixed-medium choreographic endeavor, Artistic Director Zvi Gotheiner and the company members of ZviDance draw inspiration from distinguished visual artists of the 20th century to question notions of modernity. New York Live Arts presents the world premiere of There Might Be Others, a collaborative dance and music performance inspired by composer Terry Riley's seminal work In C. Directed and choreographed by Rebecca Lazier, There Might Be Others features an international cast of 15 dancers and is performed with a live score by Dan Trueman in collaboration with acclaimed ensembles Mobius Percussion and So? Percussion. Performances are Wednesday to Saturday, March 16?19, at 7:30pm, at New York Live Arts, 219 West 19th Street, in Manhattan.
