Marvin Rosen, host of the ASCAP award winning program 'Classical Discoveries' will be presenting his 17th, 24 hour hosted marathon totally devoted to music from the 21st Century. The marathon titled 'Viva 21st Century 50/50 - airs from WPRB, Princeton, NJ at 103.3 FM for local listeners and on line at www.wprb.com. 50/50 refers to the fact that there is an approximate equal representation of men and women composers.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, for the next two Wednesday mornings (May 12 and May 19) from 7:00 to 10:00am, Classical Discoveries, with host Marvin Rosen, will air two programs completely devoted to music by Asian American composers. The two-part series is called In The Year of The Ox - WPRB Radio tribute to Asian American Composers.

Since May 1997, Marvin Rosen, pianist, music educator and producer has been radio host of the ASCAP Award winning weekly program Classical Discoveries on WPRB. Host Marvin Rosen celebrates new music and living composers all year long.

“Classical Discoveries” is a unique radio program featuring rarely heard selections from all periods with an emphasis on the very old and the very new.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) announces Idina Menzel will join the 2019 Gala evening celebrating John Lithgow with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. Menzel will perform a unique concert created exclusively for the special occasion.

Peri Mauer's new piece for contrabass flute and cello, Shadow Harlequinade, will be premiered this weekendin the Bargemusic Here and Now Labor Day Festival. The concerts will take place today, August 31 at 8pm,Saturday, September 1 at 6pm, and Sunday, September 2 at 4pm. It will be performed by flutist Lish Lindseyand cellist Timothy Leonard.

Peri Mauer's piece for solo piano, A Little New Year's Flair, will be performed by Craig Ketter March 19, 2018, 7:30pm, at the National Opera Center, Marc A. Scorca Hall, 330 7th Ave., NYC, in a New York Composers Circle Concert of New Music for Piano. A Little New Year's Flair was premiered in 2014 in the Bargemusic Winter Festival by Blair McMillen to critical acclaim.

In addition to producing great theatre works, Primary Stages produced one of this season's most exciting Galas. The 2017 event, celebrating Artistic Honorees Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty, Producer Honorees Janet B.
