Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack, NY will be presenting A Sherlock Holmes Showcase, written by Tal Aviezer and directed by Margaret Young.

Rover Dramawerks continues their 23rd Season with the comedy Spirit Level by Pam Valentine. Performances will be at the Cox Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in Plano, running March 16 - April 1 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Morning's at Seven is a distinctly old-fashioned play with a gently moral tone, full of larger than life characters, plenty of laughs and several touching moments. Its central theme is however indistinct, focusing primarily on the aging characters internal squabbles.

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting "Morning's At Seven', written by Paul Osborn and directed by Melinda Pinto. "Morning's At Seven' is a comedy that lovingly exposes the frailties of a close knit family. "Morning's At Seven' runs Friday, May 10th thru Saturday, June 1st Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm with an additional Thursday performance on May 30th at 8pm and an additional matinee on Saturday, June 1st at 2pm. Tickets are $26 / $23 Seniors and Students.

Oh yeah, and The Elmwood Playhouse, in Nyack, New York first opened its doors! Since then Elmwood has staged over 367 main stage productions, and had over 250,000 audience members have passed through their doors.

Now that fall is upon us, our local theatres are gearing up for their new seasons.

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting "The Odd Couple", written by Neil Simon and directed by Margaret Young. "The Odd Couple" is the classic comedy which opens the 70th season at Elmwood Playhouse.

David Chmielewski and Kimberly Hawkey gave beautifully touching performances in Elmwood Playhouse's aesthetically stirring production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical Sunday in the Park With George.
