The 2023 Season at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater opens with Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Performances run Tuesdays through Saturdays, May 26 to June 17 at 8 p.m.

Based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern, the series is the first to be released under “Roar” creators and co-showrunners Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive’s (“GLOW”) overall deal with Apple TV+. The evening is being co-chaired by Academy Award-winning actor and Academy Museum supporter Halle Berry, Academy Museum Trustee and producer Jason Blum, Academy Museum Trustee and screenwriter, director, producer Ryan Murphy, and Academy Award-winning actor Lupita Nyong’o.

The stars of Universal Pictures’ The 355, including producer and star Jessica Chastain and Diane Kruger, discuss the film’s ruthless hand-to-hand combat scenes. The filmmaking and stunt teams designed unique fighting styles for each of the film’s lead characters, played by Chastain, Kruger, Penélope Cruz, Bingbing Fan and Lupita Nyong’o.
