The work of Nicky Phillips will be featured in Women Of The Wings Volume 5, March 4th at 9:30pm at 54 Below. Nicky Phillips is an award-winning composer and lyricist. She is currently a member of the BMI-Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop where she was awarded the Jean Banks Award for outstanding achievement in Musical Theatre.

Triple threat composer/lyricist/bookwriters Tracy Sallows and Jay Alan Zimmerman recently celebrated their wins for the 2022 BMI Jerry Harrington Awards for excellence in musical theatre writing at the annual holiday party for the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.

A Hanukkah Carol, or GELT TRIP! The Musical, an irreverent and heartfelt new musical comedy for all ages that puts a “kosher” spin on the Charles Dickens classic, will present an abridged concert version of the show on December 18 (the first night of Hanukkah), in New York City at The Green Room 42.

Obie Award-winning director and playwright, Stevie Walker-Webb, will helm the new musical Gun & Powder.  Following a sold-out run at Washington D.C.’s Signature Theatre in 2020, reading presentations for the production will take place in New York City on December 15 and 16.

The producers of KPOP announced that the groundbreaking new musical will have its final Broadway performance on Sunday, December 11 at Circle in the Square Theatre.
