The InterAct Theatre Company, now celebrating its 35th season, is proud to announce the cast of THE LAST PARADE. THE LAST PARADE is a “world premiere” by Stephanie Satie and will be directed by InterAct's founder and producing artistic director, Seth Rozin.

Lightning Rod Special is launching Sound Break, a new series of audio works made in LRS’s signature explosive style. These three brand-new audio shows to be released throughout 2021 are designed for at-home listening, available for free online to all listeners. Sound Break is theater when and where you want it.

After a six month delay due to the global pandemic, Philadelphia Theatre Company will present the highly anticipated production of The Wolves, streaming Friday, November 27 to Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Theatre Philadelphia, the non-profit organization that promotes and celebrates theatre across the Philadelphia region, has announced this year's nominees for the Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre. 

The Arden Theatre Company is eagerly preparing for the Philadelphia regional premiere of INDECENT, which begins performances starting May 22.  This fresh from Broadway play with music won two Tony Awards, and was also nominated for Best Play.

The Arden Theatre Company closes its 2018-19 season with the regional premiere of a fresh from Broadway blockbuster. Paula Vogel's INDECENT, a new play with music, will take to the F. Otto Haas stage starting May 22, 2019. Opening night is Wednesday, May 29 at 7PM.

Theatre Philadelphia, the region's marketing and leadership organization for theatre, proudly announces the 2018 nominees for the Barrymore Award for Excellence in Theatre. Celebrating the rich, diverse professional theatre scene in the Greater Philadelphia region, the Barrymore Ceremony will be held on Monday, November 5th at 7pm at the Bok Building at 1901 S. 9th Street in South Philadelphia. After producing six world premiere plays by Philadelphia playwrights, Orbiter 3 is presenting their seventh and final production this May: A People by L M Feldman. In just three years Orbiter 3 has brought new work by local playwrights to the stage (six of the seven plays directed by women) and leaves a legacy of creating sustainable and radical theatre.

Lisa Kron's 2.5 Minute Ride will have it's Philadelphia-area premiere at the Norristown theatre from October 6 through October 29, 2017.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 208th season with Neil Simon's classic comedy, LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR. Directed by Frank Ferrante, the play begins previews on January 17th, opens on January 25th and runs through March 5th on the Walnut's Mainstage. This production is part of a double feature of Simon's work at the Walnut, as Last of the Red Hot Lovers will begin performances the in the Independence Studio on 3 on January 10th.
