Steppenwolf Theatre Company launches its 2009-2010 season, exploring the theme of belief, with the world premiere of Fake, written and directed by ensemble member Eric Simonson. Fake features ensemble members Kate Arrington, Francis Guinan and Alan Wilder with Coburn Goss and Larry Yando.

First Look Repertory of New Work runs July 22 - August 9, 2009 in The Merle Reskin Garage Theatre, 1624 N. Halsted St. All tickets are $20.

Tsidii Le Loka to perform at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center at Borough of Manhattan Community College (199 Chambers Street) on May 1st and 2nd at 8PM. Tsidii will perform a concert entitled To the Rising Sun featuring the music of Nina Simone, Miriam Makeba, and Odetta.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2007-2008 Season with Carter's Way, written and directed by Oscar-winning ensemble member Eric Simonson, with original jazz music by Darrell Leonard. The production, featuring ensemble members Robert Breuler, K. Todd Freeman, Ora Jones and James Vincent Meredith, with Anne Adams, Calvin Dutton, Curtis M. Jackson, Keith Kupferer, Danny McCarthy and Michael Pogue, runs February 28 - April 27, 2008 in the Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted. The press opening is Saturday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m.
