Deadline reports that comic legends of stage and screen Carol Burnett and Fred Armisen have joined the cast of 'Sorta Like a Rock Star,' which also stars Auli'i Cravalho and rising actor Rhenzy Feliz.

Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Carol Burnett, Fred Armisen (Los Espookys, Big Mouth), Rhenzy Feliz (Runaways, Casual), Justina Machado (One Day At A Time, Queen of the South), Judy Reyes (Claws, Succession), Gerald Isaac Waters (Angie Tribeca), Taylor Richardson (Slender Man, Rise), and Anthony Jacques (Atypical), join the previously announced Auli'i Cravalho (Moana) in the upcoming film Sorta Like a Rock Star.

Last night the JANE THE VIRGIN season premiere aired!  In the episode was the epic 7 minute and 20 second monologue that was directed, choreographed and performed by the multi-talented Gina Rodriguez.

Hero Theatre announced today that One Day at a Time stars Justina Machado and Isabella Gomez, Jane the Virgin's Ivonne Coll and Imagen Award-winning veteran stage and film actress Wanda De Jesus round out the company of Hero Theatre's The Floating Island Plays.

During the interview, Moreno talks playing Lydia on the Netflix remake of the hit '70s show and she even divulges some information about the upcoming reboot of 'West Side Story'!

Last night, the Critics' Choice Awards were announced. Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was Roma. Also, in a surprising turn of events, both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close took home the award for Best Actress, for A Star is Born and The Wife, respectively.

According to Deadline, Lifetime has announced the cast for the forthcoming movies based on novels by Jane Green. FAMILY PICTURES will star Justina Machado, Elisabeth Röhm and Matt Passmore.
