People's Light Presents Regional Premiere of SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

Nationally esteemed theatre-maker Joseph Hanreddy, former Artistic Director of Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, directs a cast of 19 in his new version of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility on the Leonard C. Haas Stage at People's Light from February 10 to March 20, 2016.

Great Lakes Theater to Launch 2015-16 Season with THE SECRET GARDEN & KING LEAR

Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will commence its 2015-16 season at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square with a Fall Repertory that features a Tony Award-winning musical for the whole family, The Secret Garden and a towering Shakespearean tragedy, King Lear. The productions will be performed in rotating repertory September 25 - November 1, 2015. Victoria Bussert will direct The Secret Garden. Joseph Hanreddy will direct King Lear. (The Secret Garden is presented through special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.)

Utah Shakes - 53 Years and Still Running Strong

With a $38 million project under construction, a world premiere adaptation, a visit from England and the continuation of the Complete the Canon and History Cycle initiatives, the Utah Shakespeare Festival showed no signs of slowing down in 2014, its 53rd season. Producing 235 performances in rotating repertory in three theatres for 17 weeks is no easy feat, but through countless hours, a dedicated group of artists has pulled off another artistically successful year.
