Bare: A Pop Opera, is a coming-of-age rock musical. The story focuses on a group of high school students at a private Catholic boarding school facing issues of sexuality, identity, and the future. As they struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves. Bare is a provocative, fresh, and utterly honest look at the dangers of baring your soul, and the consequences of continuing to hide.

Bare plays its final performance tonight, February 3rd, 2013, after 21 previews and 65 regular performances. Bare began previews off-Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Monday, November 19, 2012 and opened on Sunday, December 9, 2012. The Staff and Board of Trustees of Know Theatre today announce the resignation of Artistic Director, Jason Bruffy. Bruffy will be moving to Salt Lake City, Utah to become the new Executive Artistic Director at the Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC).
