Musical Brilliance, LLC, will present private industry readings (by invitation only) of Brilliance, a musical based on the life of Frances Farmer, with book by Lance Lewman, music and lyrics by Lance Lewman & Kristan King, and additional music by Gabriel Kane.

Merton of the Movies: The Musical, with music by Gary William Friedman (The Me Nobody Knows, Taking My Turn), lyrics by Stevie Holland (Love, Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter) and Robert Lorick (The Tap Dance Kid), and book by Holland, Lorick and Mel Shapiro (Two Gentlemen of Verona) will have a private industry reading in New York on December 4th.

On any Sunday through August 28, Long Island audiences can catch Broadway's John Hillner starring as Reverend Shaw in the Oyster Bay Theatre production of the hit musical, Footloose!

Footloose begins performances on July 14 in advance of its opening night on July 16 running through August 28, 2022.

Gloucester Stage Company opens its 39th season of professional theater on May 11 with the world premiere of Madame Defarge, Wendy Kesselman's new musical inspired by Charles Dicken's classic A Tale of Two Cities. One of the most celebrated holiday stories ever told continues. In this musical sequel to Charles Dickens' famed 'A Christmas Carol,' it's been twelve years since Ebenezer Scrooge experienced his wonderful transformation from cold miser to loving benefactor of Tiny Tim and the Cratchit family. 

Westchester Broadway Theatre presents TIM AND SCROOGE, A CAROL FOR A LATER CHRISTMAS, with music by Neil Berg and book & lyrics by Nick Meglin. Directed by Nick Corley with musical direction by Patrick Hoagland, the production will run December 3 - December 27, 2015.

Westport Country Playhouse closed its season by honoring the centennial of Pultizer prize-winning playwright Arthur Miller with his 1994 play, Broken Glass. The title partly refers to Kristallnacht, the pogrom during which the windows of Jewish-owned homes and businesses and synagogues were smashed and nearly 100 Jews murdered during those attacks and 30,000 more were arrested and sent to concentration camps. However, it really refers to the broken spirtis of a Brooklyn couple.

Westport Country Playhouse commemorates the centennial year of playwright Arthur Miller (1915-2005) with one of his last works, BROKEN GLASS, helmed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, playing now through October 24. Set in 1938 Brooklyn at the time of Nazi Germany's Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass), the powerful drama incites a dangerous game of concealment, suspicion, and lies.
