The Edinburgh International Book Festival today announced its programme for 2012. Charlotte Square Gardens will welcome Nobel Laureates, Booker and Pulitzer Prize winners and Poets Laureate as well as a stellar line up of the world's leading writers, poets, thinkers and commentators. With Guest Selectors, the Anobii First Book Award, the Edinburgh World Writers' Conference, the gamut of outstanding authors from Ali Smith to Zadie Smith, and a third year of the late night Unbound events, the Book Festival promises a summer of contemplation, inspiration and entertainment.

For its first offering this year, 9 Works Theatrical presents the musical comedy YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN - based on the comic strip 'Peanuts' by Charles Schulz; featuring book by John Gordon; and music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. The show runs at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City until Saturday, March 3.

Cornish College of the Arts wrapped up its weekend of Inaugural festivities by raising $390,000 to support student scholarships on Sunday, October 16 at Cornish Celebrates an Evening of the Arts, the College's annual gala fundraiser. The College officially installed its fifth president, Dr. Nancy J. Uscher on Friday, October 14 and welcomed her with a day-long colloquium at Cornish on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Longford and Mahajan try to track down the killer of an attorney with many enemies. When both cases intersect, the cops are in a race against time to stop the killing spree, culminating in a high-speed pursuit and a perilous standoff, putting the cops in harm's way, on 'Detroit 1-8-7,' TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The Invisible Man opened on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011. Illusions are by Paul Kieve, with set designs by Paul Farnsworth, costume designs by Matthew Wright, lighting by Jason Taylor, music by Steve Edis, sound by Gareth Owen and choreography by Sam Spencer-Lane.

Ian Talbot's production of Ken Hill's The Invisible Man previewed at the Menier Chocolate Factory on 13 November, with press night on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011.

The National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction (NFFR) presented Broadway for Medicine II featuring funny-lady Julie Halston (Hairspray, Sex and the City) and 'Professor of all things Broadway,' Sirius/XM Satellite Radio host Seth Rudetsky along with some very exciting special guests. The event took place on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Smoking Mirror Productions is proud to present William Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, running from September 27 through October 6 at The Kirk Theatre on Theatre Row. This production will be directed by the founder of Smoking Mirror Productions, John Gordon.

The smash Broadway phenomenon 'The Producers' will play its last performance at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on January 6, ending a run that began on November 9, 2004. Its UK life will not end, however, as it opens in Manchester on February 18 for a 3 month run.

The London production of The Producers has extended through October 2006
