The second annual Deer Valley Concert Series, presented by Deer Valley Resort in conjunction with The State Room Presents, will begin on June 30, 2019, with a performance by Michael Franti & Spearhead and Ziggy Marley. Jenny Lewis, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and the John Butler Trio+ are also confirmed to perform in the resort's renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater this summer.

The American Dance Festival (ADF) will award the 2019 Balasaraswati/Joy Anne Dewey Beinecke Endowed Chair for Distinguished Teaching to longtime Paul Taylor Dance Company rehearsal director Bettie de Jong. A ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Reynolds Industries Theater at the opening night performance of the Paul Taylor Dance Company.

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl has been part of Melbourne's entertainment scene since 1959, and today we celebrate 60 years. Officially opened by Prime Minister Robert Menzies in 1959, the Bowl has seen many of the world's greatest entertainers perform live.

As construction on IAC's landmark permanent new home in Hell's Kitchen takes place just beyond the organization's original location, IAC's vast ambition and accomplishment will be on full display, outside and in, throughout Spring 2019.

Annenberg Center Live and NextMove Dance present the Martha Graham Dance Company in the EVE Project, Friday, January 25 (8 PM) and Saturday, January 26 (2 PM and 7 PM). The EVE Project commemorates the upcoming centennial of the 19th Amendment (which extended the right to vote to American women) with works by all female choreographers, staying true to Graham's tradition of social activism. The program features the Philadelphia premiere of Graham's powerful Chronicle; the first preview performance of Deo, a new work by celebrated choreographers Maxine Doyle and Bobbi Jene Smith, Graham's Diversion of Angels, and Ekstasis by Graham, reimagined by Virginie Mecene. BroadwayWorld is sad to report that iconic dancer and performer Sono Osato has passed away. She was 99.

Promising classic country emerging duo, Crawford & Power, have signed exclusive booking representation with APA. The debut EP and single of the same name “Play A Hank Jr. Song” was released to all digital platforms in June 2018 and has been added to Spotify's 90's Country (and some 80's) playlist. Frontier Touring are beyond excited to reveal that Aussie music icons John Butler Trio and Missy Higgins will be joining forces in January and February for the Coming Home Tour. The tour's name reflects both the title of John's imminent new album and the fact that it will finally reunite two artists whose early careers were closely intertwined.

The 62nd BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express® today announces its full programme, featuring a diverse selection of 225 feature films from both established and emerging talent. This 12-day celebration of cinema illustrates the richness of international filmmaking, with films to delight and entertain audiences, and also films that probe and interrogate issues of significance.
