Philippine Development Foundation ('PhilDev') announces that Filipino American actor, Deedee Magno Hall, best known for her role as Kim in Miss Saigon on Broadway and Nessarose in Wicked's first national tour, has been added to the impressive list of Filipino American Broadway stars led by Tony Award winner Lea Salonga for its upcoming gala concert, PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: Suites by Sondheim, on Monday, November 7th at 7:30PM at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

Philippine Development Foundation USA (PhilDev), a non-profit organization that supports community and entrepreneurship programs in the Philippines, has just released its promo video for PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: SUITES BY SONDHEIM, a benefit concert at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on November 7 that will feature Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga, and an impressive roster of Filipino-American Broadway stars.

On Saturday, August 20th, East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, will kick off its 46th season with One Night Only: On Broadway.

EWP is proud to announce the addition of Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures) to the star-studded line-up. Leung can also be seen on TV in Glee.

This production of ROAD TO SAIGON is made possible with the generous support of the S. Mark Taper Foundation Endowment for East West Players.

'Road to Saigon', East West Players' 44th season finale features three 'Miss Saigon' alumnae Joan Almedilla, Jennifer Paz, and Jenni Selma in an original musical revue where the trio of outstanding vocalists gets to share personal stories about their young adult years, family and romantic relationships, and 17 year old alter ego, Kim. Previous viewing of megamusical inspiration, 'Miss Saigon', is not necessary.

Jordan Nagai, the voice of Russell from the animated film Up, will be recognized with the Breakout Performance Award at East West Players 44th Anniversary Visionary Awards and Silent Auction, which takes place at the Hilton Universal City on Monday, April 19, 2010.
