The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra and I are so pleased to team up with Bainbridge Chorale for performances of Sacred and Profane on April 22 & 23, 2017 at Bainbridge High School in the gymnasium.

Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Bainbridge Chorale join forces for another extraordinary partnership on April 22 and 23. Together they will perform iconic sacred works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms before turning their attention to Carl Orff's famed Carmina Burana. Led by conductors Wesley Schulz and Michael Austin Miller, this thrilling collaboration features the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra, Bainbridge Chorale, Olympic Girls Choir, Jessica Robins Milanese (soprano), and Paul Karaitis (tenor/baritone). The BSO and the Chorale last collaborated in the spring of 2014 for a production of Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music and Verdi's Requiem.

Seattle Opera will offer its new Spanish/English performance at both its annual Frost Fest on Feb. 4 at Cornish Playhouse, and onMarch 19 at Kirkland Performance Center; ultimately, the production will tour more than 40 elementary schools statewide.

Fort Caspar Museum presents its annual FREE summer lecture series for 2016. The lectures will be held on seven consecutive Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, from today, June 8th to July 20th. Each presentation will focus on a different 'Impression on Wyoming,' from past to present and from east to west. These free programs are funded in part by the Fort Caspar Museum Association and the Wyoming Humanities Council.

Tacoma Little Theatre is adding an extra Thursday night performance to its production of A CHRISTMAS STORY to meet demand. This performance will be on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 7:30pm.

Seattle Musical Theatre, Seattle's oldest musical theatre house, and West Seattle's Twelfth Night Productions are co-producing the nascent Reboot Theatre Company's maiden production of an all-female 1776 (Book by Peter Stone; Music and Lyrics by  Sherman Edwards; Based on a concept by Sherman Edwards). This beloved Tony winner celebrates the founding of the United States of America with what is widely considered one of the most intelligent librettos in musical history. With Keith A. Tacoma Little Theatre presents an audience favorite, Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias, directed by Elliot Weiner. Last seen on the TLT stage during the 1998-1999 season, we have consistently received requests to revisit this production. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the show below!

Inspired by the story of H.H. Holmes, America's first serial killer, World's Fair takes audiences inside the mind and lair of a killer amidst a celebration of progress at the dawn of the 20th Century.

To honor the life and musical legacy of George Shangrow, Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers (OSSCS), will join together well-known local vocal and instrumental soloists closely associated with Mr. Shangrow and his ensembles to perform some of Mr. Shangrow's favorite works.
