?When the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar" hit the Broadway stage in 1971, it was an electrifying leap into a new kind of musical. The power of the music and the story that it tells still resonate some four decades later. Andrew Lloyd Webber's and Tim Rice's Tony-Award winning show will be presented by Playful Theatre Productions at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre in November. Performance dates are Fridays, Nov. 7 and 14 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 8 and 15 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 9 and 16 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Nov. 7.

The Secret Garden continues for a second weekend at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre. Performances are Friday, June 27, Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 at 7:30 pm.

A mysterious tale filled with splendid music, The Secret Garden opens at New Jersey's Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre on Friday, June 20 at 7:30pm. The musical continues for two weekends through June 29 with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 pm.

Michael Moeller Productions will present the first show in a new "Theatre for a Cause" series when the musical revue, Lullaby of Broadway is presented in February. Set for 6 performances, Lullaby of Broadway will be presented at the Central Bucks Senior Center located at 700 N. Shady Retreat Rd. in Doylestown, PA. The production will be performed on Friday, February 14 at 8 pm, Saturday, February 15 at 8 pm and Sunday, February 16 at 2 pm. A second weekend of performances is scheduled for February 21 and 22 at 8 pm and February 23 at 2 pm. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to the Peace Valley Holistic Center of Chalfont, PA and their ongoing programs.

Bucks County welcomes a new dinner theater on Friday, November 1 when the Memorable Affairs Dinner Theatre at Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Club opens in Warminster, PA. The inaugural production, Lullaby of Broadway runs for 8 performances on Friday at 8 pm,Saturday at 2 pm and 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm from November 1 through November 10, 2013.

The Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards were held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. Among the winners were Alec Baldwin, Ruby Dee, Kevin Kline, Queen Latifah, 'The Sopranos,' 'The Office' and 'No Country for Old Men.'
