The award-winning Israeli film actor Sasson Gabay will reprise the role of 'Tewfiq' in the upcoming North American tour of the 10-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical, THE BAND'S VISIT, the role he created in the 2007 film of the same name and most recently played on Broadway.Joining him for the tour is critically acclaimed 'Beautiful' actress Chilina Kennedy in the role of 'Dina', a role which won a Tony Award for original star Katrina Lenk in 2018.

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce tickets for THE BAND'S VISIT will go on sale on Friday, June 7. THE BAND'S VISIT won 10 2018 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and will play Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement September 3-15, 2019.

Brian Charles Rooney, critically acclaimed for his performances in Roundabout's Broadway production of The Three-Penny Opera smash off-Broadway hit Bedbugs and winner of the New York Music Festival award for outstanding actor for his portrayal of Lee/Miss Blanche in Miss Blanche Tells It All, will play Reverend Vernon Jackson (Just like the 7 Train subway stop) in the pre Off- Broadway concert presentation of Reverend Jackson Regrets, an exciting evening featuring the songs of this 2017 Midtown Musical Theatre Festival Best Production winner. Before there was SNL, The Daily Show, and Last Week Tonight, there was As Thousands Cheer, Irving Berlin and Moss Hart's famed musical revue. Opening on Broadway in September 1933, As Thousands Cheer brought laughter and joy to audiences at the Music Box Theatre. PS Classics to Release Bartram & Hill's THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY on 6/3

The Theory of Relativity, the new musical by the Drama Desk Award-nominated creators of Broadway's The Story of My Life, Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, will be released on disc by PS Classics on June 3. The album, recorded March 31 and April 1 at Avatar Studios in New York City, is produced by PS Classics staff engineer Bart Migal, who has produced over a dozen recordings for the label, including, most recently, Tony Yazbeck's debut solo album.
