Kristin Scott Thomas plays the Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience. Stephen Daldry's production is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre, with press night on 5 May 2015 and is booking to 25 July 2015. The Audience has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby. Check out a first look at the production in photos below!

Kristin Scott Thomas will play the Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience. Ben Righton takes on the role of our eponymous hero, Richard Hannay, having been seen most recently on our televisions as the one half of the witty Carling advert duo. Ellie Beaven follows a tremendously busy season at the RSC, where she received acclaim for her roles in Mad World My Masters, Candide and Titus Andronicous, by playing the three wonderful women in Hannay's life; Pamela, Annabella and Margaret.
Students Receive Honors at 37th Annual Shakespeare Competition

Last weekend the 37th annual Shakespeare Competition, hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Southern Utah University, gave out dozens of awards and scholarships to drama, dance and music students. The competition is the largest scholastic Shakespeare competition in the country, and this was a record-breaking year with over 3,000 students from 118 schools. Students came from junior high and high schools in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin, and California.
