Following last year’s amazing pop-up season in Vauxhall, The Garden Theatre returns this summer with a festival of exciting and eclectic work running from August 1 to 14 in a new pop-up theatre at St. Gabriel’s Halls in Pimlico, London SW1V 3AA.
Actress and Singer India Adams Dies at 93

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that India Adams, whose long career as a singer and actress spanned nearly seven decades, died Saturday, April 25th at Tarzana Medical Center in Los Angeles, after a short illness.
The Full Auckland Fringe Programme Is Now Live!

The Auckland Fringe festival kicks off on 25 February with a full programme packed with more than 70 events happening over the 12-day festival. In the mix is something for everyone, with 46 of world premieres across 26 of spaces, from both local and international artists and performers. Audiences can see Shakespeare reimagined, Dungeons & Dragons inspired improv, comedy aplenty, variety line-ups, metal music, four-hour long shows, poetry written and performed live and everything else imaginable.

The El Capitan Theatre puts a spotlight on its historic Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and its award winning house organist with a special concert by Rob Richards, TO DISNEY WITH LOVE, celebrating his twentieth anniversary as the El Capitan Theatre's house organist. Richards has played this spectacular instrument at the landmark Hollywood movie palace since its installation in 1999.

'The Diana Tapes' produced by What Will the Neighbors Say? and Stockwell Playhouse opened to a full house on June 26th in London, following an Off-Broadway run at HERE Arts Center last month. Andrew Morton, the main character of the play, was in attendance along with News Night anchor Kirsty Wark and West End actor Charlotte Randle among others.

Following the Birmingham Repertory Theatre Company's successful collaboration with Chichester Festival Theatre in 2015, producing The King's Speech, the two companies have worked together once more to present Alan Bennett's award-winning double-bill. First performed in 1988, Single Spies consists of two plays, An Englishman Abroad and A Question of Attribution; both portrayals of two of the best-known members of the 'Cambridge Five' - the spy ring recruited at Cambridge University in the 1930s.

Attending a multilingual performance at Cafe Sabarsky in The Neue Galerie (86th Street and Fifth Avenue) is like stepping back in time. The room speaks to an era of higher refinement, not stuffy, but encouraging pedigree and brio. Few artists epitomize this more than celebrated cabaret veteran singer/pianist Steve Ross, whose fascinating and emotionally translucent shows here never fail to enlighten and entertain.
