Lyric Stage opens its twentieth anniversary season with Frank Loesser's THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, featuring restored material and the 38 piece Lyric Stage Orchestra playing Don Walker's original Broadway orchestrations. Performances are tonight, September 7-16 at the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall. Tickets are available online or by calling the box office @ 972-252-2787.

Artes de la Rosa announces principle casting for the Regional Premiere of Astor Piazolla's Tango Operita, MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES, which is receiving its Regional Premiere this May at Artes de la Rosa's home The Rose Marine Theater. Starring as Maria, is Grace Neeley making her Artes de la Rosa debut. The actress has been seen through out the North Texas theatre community taking the stage at Circle Theatre (The Great American Trailer Park Musical) and Casa Manana where she played Linda Lou in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, starring Ruta Lee & Ed Dixon.

Burning Coal Theatre Company, a small professional, theatre based in Raleigh, North Carolina will conclude its 2008/2009 season with the world premiere of 1960, written by Ian Finley and the Burning Coal Theatre Company, directed by Jerome Davis, Burning Coal's Artistic Director. The production runs April 9 - 26, 2009 at Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. Performances are April 9 - 11, 16 -18 and 23 - 25 at 7:30 pm and April 12, 19 and 26 at 2 p.m.
