Asolo Rep announces additional casting for award-winning Managing Maxine, Janece Shaffer's new play that takes a straight forward look at sex, love and life after 70. The cast features Howard Elfman as Louis, the role he originated last season in the world premiere of Managing Maxine at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.

In celebration of their upcoming milestone 20th anniversary season, Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana, one of Chicago's top musical theaters, will host seven exciting educational workshops for the young theater enthusiasts of Chicagoland.

Like their heroes Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, it's wee lads Mojo and Mickybo against the world in this bittersweet tale of innocence lost. Two actors play 17 characters in Owen McCafferty's rollicking and poignant thrill ride through 1970 Belfast.

Theatre at the Center, recognized for bringing exciting, fun and educational productions and opportunities, announces a special musical theater workshop geared towards children ages 8 through 11. From start to finish, children will learn all aspects of putting on a musical, from auditioning to designing to performing. Theatre at the Center (1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana) will close the workshop with a special sports musical, Get In The Game, featuring the hard work of all of the students. Space is filling up quickly so early registration is highly recommended.

Kicking off the new season in the Village Players Blackbox is Betrayal, an intimate three person look at relationships by Harold Pinter, the 2005 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce William Inge's Picnic directed by David Cromer. The production runs September 16-November 16, 2008, at Writers' Theatre, 325 Tudor Court in Glencoe.

Queens College will present the first performances of Adam Kraar's Freedom High, a new play about the complexities of racism, from May 9th - 20th at Queens College and Queens Theatre in the Park.
