Roundabout Theatre Company, one of the nation's most influential nonprofit theatre companies, as well as one of New York City's leading cultural institutions, has announced today that Managing Director Harold Wolpert will depart in October 2016 to pursue new opportunities.

St. Louis' own Fox Theatricals received a 2016 Tony® Award as a producer of THE HUMANS, a new Broadway play by Stephan Karam.  THE HUMANS received a total of four 2016 Tony nominations:  Best Play,  Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Reed Birney), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play (Jayne Houdyshell) and Best Scenic Design of a Play (David Zinn).  The show received additional nominations for Best Lighting Design of a Play (Justin Townsend) and Best Direction of a Play (Joe Mantello).

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Shelian-Shanks) gathers today for the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, hosted by 2016 Tony® Award-nominees, Zachary Levi (She Loves Me) and Megan Hilty (Noises Off), in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). 

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. The 80th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon is being held this afternoon, May 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, where winners will be announced for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award.
