Finnish conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste will conduct Beethoven’s Eroica in his long-due HK Phil debut. Leading German concert organist Christian Schmitt joins the orchestra on Friday in a unique rendition of Bach’s famous D minor Toccata and Fugue, as well as Samuel Barber’s rarely heard Toccata festiva.
