Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's legendary musical, EVITA. The cast of EVITA will be led by Briana Carlson-Goodman as Eva and Constantine Maroulis as Che.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's 2017 summer season will take patrons on a whirlwind adventure, from a famed recording session with rock 'n' roll icons and a spectacular Disney musical to a classic New York City love story and a toe-tapping hip-hop dance spectacle.

 The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre adds five performances to the existing run of In The Heights as presales break records. Added performances include Sunday, March 19 at 7:30 pm, Thursday, March 23 at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 2 at 7:30 pm, Monday, April 3 at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30 pm. In The Heights must close April 4.

Broadway and NYC performing artists once again will donate their time and talents as teaching artists at the 8th Annual Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp, hosted by R.Evolucion Latina (RL).

That's how Michael Balderrama, resident director and choreographer of In The Heights, has described the cast for the Second National Tour of the musical, who started rehearsals in New York last month. A brand new cast has been gathered to bring the award-winning show across the States. 'All of them are fresh, from top to bottom, there's no one who has been on the show before,' Balderrama explains. 'They're young, passionate and excited about being part of ‘In The Heights'. All of them are people who are just inspired by the show'

Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre, through its groundbreaking American Musical Voices Project (AMVP), announces the world premiere of the musical comedy And the Curtain Rises (formerly known as Wheatley's Folly). Beginning performances on Thursday, March 17, 2011, And the Curtain Rises marks the third production presented as part of Signature's AMVP, the largest commissioning program for new musicals in the country, following Michael John LaChiusa's Giant in 2009 and Ricky Ian Gordon's Sycamore Trees last year. The Washington Post has said that 'Signature's AMVP is the most ambitious embrace of new musical theater in the DC region.'
