Capital Stage is reopening its doors on August 25, 2021. The 2021-2022 Season will mark their 17th season beginning with Jeanne Sakata's HOLD THESE TRUTHS, directed by Jeffrey Lo (VIETGONE, THE GREAT LEAP - A VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE), and starring Jomar Tagatac (VIETGONE).

Written by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell, the play is based on the critically acclaimed book of the same name that was written by John D'Agata and Jim Fingal. The Lifespan of a Fact is a tightrope walk of playful debate on the virtues and vices of creative non-fiction as inspired by John and Jim's real life experiences.

4th Wall Theatre Company has announced its return to in-person theatre for the 2021-2022 season. This landmark season is completely comprised of Houston Premiere productions and features four of the most exciting plays 4th Wall has ever assembled.

After more than a year without in-person performances.  Circuit Playhouse, Inc., the organization that includes The Circuit Playhouse, TheatreWorks @ the Square, and Playhouse on the Square has announced the return to in-person live professional theatre for its 53rd season.

Hit Broadway comedy The Lifespan of a Fact, by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell - a somewhat accurate, sort of factual, mostly true story about the slippery nature of facts - will make its Australian premiere, opening on Friday 21 May at the Arts Centre Melbourne.

Just shy of a year ago which seems crazy to think about now, myself and other patrons sat in the familiar space surrounded by familiar faces to embark on a journey with a group of characters outside our normalcy. Think about that sentence for a minute. Almost a year later and we are still trying to grasp our ideals of what “normalcy” truly means. Nonetheless, the fine staff at Stageworks Theatre in Tampa’s Channelside District opened their doors once more to present an evening of live, socially distanced in person performances to remove our weary minds of the mundane, and help us escape what has now become our new normal. With names delegated on seats socially distanced away from other patrons, and masks donned by staff and audience alike, it had the welcoming feeling of being home once more. Aside from the temperature checks and socially distanced restroom protocols, the welcoming feeling of old and new friends gathering in a familiar place was comforting and much needed. The staff at Stageworks should be commended here for their top-notch protocols in place there was not an uneasy feeling to be had. Producing Artistic Director Karla Hartley welcomed everyone in her speech and with candor and compassion welcomed us back into the doors of a space we all know and love. A beautiful homage to those personally affected...stars have been placed across the front row of the audience which made for a touching tribute in these times.

Forward Theater Company has announced its 2020-2021 season, UNITED STORIES OF AMERICA.

4th Wall Theatre Company is postponing the opening of its 10th anniversary season of live theatre. The company hopes to resume in-person productions in January of 2021 with the play BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY by Stephen Adly Guirgis (originally scheduled to hit the stage in early September).

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley, Artistic Director Designate Tim Bond, and Executive Director Phil Santora announced changes to TheatreWorks's 2020-21 Season, which is now scheduled to begin in October 2020.

Add in the desire to both entertain and inform readers (and sell publications) and it can be easy to see how, today, trust may be harder than ever to find in the printed word. But who defines what exactly constitutes a fact, and when, if ever, is it ok to bend the truth in service of telling an important story? These are some of the questions explored in THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT, a play by Jeremey Kareken, David Murrell and Gordon Farrell now playing at TheaterWorks in Hartford.

Shakespeare & Company is excited to announce its 2020 summer season, May 21 - October 18, 2020. TheaterWorks Producing Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero announced today the cast and creative team for the Connecticut Premiere of THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell. Tracy Brigden (Hand to God) directs a cast that includes Tasha Lawrence (A Doll's House Part 2), Nick LaMedica (Hand to God) and Rufus Collins (TheaterWorks Hartford debut).
