Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, today announced premiere dates for eight upcoming series that span documentary, drama and comedy, including: Chef's Table: France; Joe Swanberg's Easy; The Ranch; Lovesick (fka Scrotal Recall); Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life; Captive; Beat Bugs (S2); One Day at a Time; and Black Mirror.

The STARZ Original series "Blunt Talk" began production in Los Angeles on the 10-episode second season of the half-hour scripted comedy series from Media Rights Capital (MRC) and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Ames, Tristram Shapeero, and Stephanie Davis.

Known for her breakout role in “Sons of Anarchy”, McNally Sagal is back after taking a much needed hiatus to raise her family. And she's back in a big way.

This week's episode, “Tad & Loreen & Avi & Shanaz”, allowed not just the girls to be showcased, but two vital characters in Hannah's life, Tad and Loreen, were focused on as well.

The Santa Barbara Film Festival has announced its 2013 lineup. The 28th edition features films from 49 countries and runs January 24-February 3. The festival will open with DISCONNECT, a drama starring Jason Bateman and will conclude with Rowan Athale's Wasteland.

Yesterday, the Sundance Institute announced the films from next year's Film Festival that will have a special screening in ten independent theaters across the United States. The screening will take place on January 31, 2013 as part of 'Sundance Film Festival USA.
