Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre will present an encore production of the popular original musical revue Under the Boardwalk, featuring the Big Easy Buddies, as a substitute for the recently cancelled Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, from today, July 11-26.

Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre will present an encore production of the popular original musical revue Under the Boardwalk, featuring the Big Easy Buddies, as a substitute for the recently cancelled Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, from July 11-26. The show celebrates some of the greatest hits of the 1950s and '60s, showcasing the classic harmonies of the Four Seasons, Beach Boys, Doo-wop, and Motown, accompanied by a live 'big band' orchestra. Audience favorites include "My Girl," "Blue Moon," "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," "I Get Around," "Walk Like a Man," "Oh What a Night," and a couple of new songs added for this show.

Due to even more demand for tickets, Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts in Kenner's Rivertown has now added an additional weekend of performances of the original locally written musical revue, Under The Boardwalk on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 2014.
