Clinton Hill cultural hub and OBIE award-winner JACK launches its winter/spring 2016 season with an a cappella opera set in Zimbabwe by composer Tanyaradzwa Tawengwa, a weekend of curated works by Modesto "Flako" Jimenez, the premiere of the dirty and bracing play Tom & Eliza, by Celine Song, the English-language premiere of Argentinian playwright Rafael Spregelburd's SPAM, The Geneva Project by Jennifer Harrison Newman, Antonio Ramos' Thirsty Mind, love and starvation sitting in a lonely tree and an exploration in minimalist/pop art performance by the No Face Performance Group.  JACK also engineers the return of Walter Dundervill's ARENA (which had two sold-out runs at JACK in 2014 and 2015). 

Direct from Europe to Singapore, Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story makes its Asian premiere at Resorts World Sentosa on 27 November 2014, Thursday. The classic and timeless fairy tale is brought alive with popular and modern hit songs as well as stunning visual effects that will captivate the audience. Local kids are invited to join the cast and perform in December 2014 shows.

Peter Pan - The Never-Ending Story is to tour the UK this winter, featuring a mix of theatre, illusion, circus, block-buster movie and rock spectacular rolled into one with 50 dancers, stuntmen, acrobats, magicians, and actors from 10 different countries and X-Factor favourite Stacey Solomon starring as Tinkerbell.

Dancers' Group, in partnership with ZiRu Dance, is honored to have received a $50,000 award from the U.S. State Department and the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing in support of its yearlong cultural exchange with China. The exchange will involve seven American choreographers and seven partnering organizations in Beijing, Yunnan and Daqing, all working together to build greater cross-cultural understanding and cooperation through the medium of dance.

Tonight, 12 June 2013, at the Matadero arts centre in Madrid, the premier of an exceptional artistic cooperation between Franco Dragone and the Spanish National Ballet will take place.

Opening today, April 4 2013, Leap of Faith is 70 minutes of pure contemporary circus. The show is directed by former Cirque du Soleil Artistic Director, Matthew Jessner, who distils the circus artform into an entertaining, heart-pounding and refreshing performance of high level skill.

The popular circus company, Cirque du Soleil is quickly approaching their 30th anniversary. The company premiered CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, their first nouveau cirque-a theatrical and character-driven circus without performing animals-on June 16, 1984. Since their humble beginnings, they have become a worldwide phenomenon. Cirque du Soleil has developed 31 shows (many of which are still running in sit-down presentations or on tours) and currently working on at least a couple more.

The cast of Pippin will have magic to do at the Music Box Theatre, with preview performances beginning Saturday, March 23, 2013 and opening night on Thursday, April 25, 2013. It might still be another month before fans can check out the cast in action, but you can meet the company of the incoming revival with videos of them from past productions and roles below!
