ElementNext is a new series of programming focusing on new and unique small-scale performances featuring local artists and available to everyone throughout our community. This collaboration with Brief Cameo Productions and Ivoryton Playhouse is a way to bring art and music out of the theatre and in to the places we places we shop and visit.

On Sunday, July 18th at 1:00pm, Kimberley Wilson will present her beautiful one woman show, A JOURNEY outside the Connecticut River Museum, 67 Main St, Essex in a show that is free to the public.

Opera Saratoga announced today that AMERICA SINGS, the company's free concert series that was created to amplify the voices of artists from racial groups historically underrepresented on the concert stage, will return to Caffè Lena this month on June 19th for A Juneteenth Celebration, celebrating the end of slavery in the United States.

Principal Guest Conductor Nicholas Kraemer takes the podium in November for Thanksgiving performances of Handel's Messiah, the first by the group in over a decade and the Music of the Baroque Chorus's first regular season appearance since December 2019. Andrew Megill, conductor of the Montreal Symphony Chorus and the Carmel Bach Festival Chorale, will lead the annual Holiday Brass & Choral Concerts in December.

Artisan Center Theater will present THE SPITFIRE GRILL at its 200 seat Main Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. The show runs Friday, June 4, 2021 through Saturday, July 3, 2021.

For 10 select weekends between June 4 and September 26, the sounds of music and memories will grace the Playhouse’s vintage patio. Seated at socially distanced tables of twos and fours, the patio comes alive seating 100 patrons for each of our four weekend performances — Fridays 5:00p, Saturdays 2:30 and 5:00p, and Sundays at 7:00p.

Music of the Baroque today announced that due to the current pandemic, the difficulty for travel for international conductors and soloists, and the need to maintain safety for musicians and audience, the repertoire for the 2020-21 season-the ensemble's 50th-will be revised.
