This live recording on the 2015 Stratford Festival hit is beautifully translated to the big screen in a sweeping production involving 10 cameras and 128 tracks of sounds to create an immersive, high-definition, surround-sound production. The original 2015 production, directed by Scott Wentworth gains eternal life through this screen adaptation directed by Barry Avrich.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, named the best musical of the 20th century by Time magazine, returns to the Festival for the first time in over twenty years in a vibrant production directed by Susan H. Schulman. Previews began Tuesday, May 5, at the Avon Theatre.

Stratford Festival's production of CAROUSEL opened on May 29th at the Avon Theatre. Despite an unsettling story with challenging themes, the performers in this production are able to rise to the challenge and present some of the finest song and dance that this stage has seen.

Swift advance sales have prompted the Stratford Festival to extend the runs of four productions, just as the box office has opened to the public. Performances of Carousel, The Alchemist, The Physicists and The Last Wife have been added to the schedule.
