This upcoming season is bound to offer the best family experiences in Milwaukee and to those Milwaukee theatergoers who enjoy great theater.

Oregon Children's Theatre is proud to present a sensory-friendly performance of The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors! This world premiere musical opened on March 2, 2019 at the Winningstad Theatre. Several performances have sold out, while many other performances have only limited seating available.

Long ago there lived three fierce warriors. From the Kingdom of Backyard came Rock; from the Empire of Mom's Home Office came Paper, and from a messy village in the Junk Drawer Realm came Scissors. They were the strongest, smartest, and fastest in all the land. When cool, smooth Pete the Cat moves in with the perfectly normal Biddle family, he rocks their world with his electric strumming and strutting. Everybody loves Pete, except for Jimmy, the world's most organized 2nd grader. But when Jimmy draws a blank in art class, Pete takes him on the inspirational road trip of a lifetime! The whole family will love Pete's hilarious, jazzy antics in this toe-tapping musical.

After a successful staged reading during January's Fertile Ground Festival, Staged! Is ready to launch the fully staged world premiere of Mark LaPierre and Eric Nordin's sweetly smart musical homage to the John Hughes generation.

The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a seventh season at Lakewood Theatre Company. This year three musicals featuring the theme 'New York, New York' will be presented in a concert/cabaret style. The second offering of the series, Seesaw, will have only three performances: Today, February 17 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 18 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

This silly and (only a little) spooky world premiere musical is based on the beloved book series from R.L. Stine.

Anne Washburn's MR. BURNS: A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY at Portland Playhouse asks 'What becomes of pop culture after the apocalypse?'

Director/choreographer Jessica Wallenfels does a brilliant job of telling us what the story is, showing us where to look, and taking us into the minds of the characters with just a simple change of lighting.
