ME AND JEZEBEL Alters Schedule; Will Now Play Saturdays Only at Snapple Theater Center

ME AND JEZEBEL, the off-Broadway play about the irascible Queen of Hollywood, Bette Davis, is switching to a new schedule this fall and will run only on Saturdays at 5PM.

November 7-10, Pontine Theatre kicks off its 36th season with performances by California-based artists, Conrad Bishop and Elizabeth Fuller, in their original production, GIFTS at Pontine's West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St, Portsmouth NH. Mr. Bishop and Ms. Fuller are the founding directors of The Independent Eye Theatre, located in Sabastopol, California. Performances are offered on Thursday and Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 4pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $24 and may be purchased online: www.pontine.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door (cash & checks only) a half-hour prior to each performance, based on availability. Guest artist accommodations for this production are provided by Best Western Plus Wynwood Hotel & Suites.

Pontine Theatre announced its 36th performance season at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth NH. This season, Pontine presents a four-event Performance Series, a three-event Cafe-Lyceum Series, a five-event 'Humanities-To-Go' Series, and its annual WEST-FEST New Vaudeville Holiday Shows. ME AND JEZEBEL Set for Blackfriars Theatre, Begin. 10/18

Me and Jezebel, the candidly funny comedy by Elizabeth L. Fuller, is coming to Blackfriars Theatre this October in a fresh, exciting and uniquely inspired production. The show, based on the true life account of Fuller, recounts events during the summer of 1985 when the legendary Bette Davis came to stay in Fuller's family home in Connecticut for what was only to be one night, but instead turned into an entire month. After dinner with a mutual friend of Davis' at Fuller's home, and a friendly phone call from Davis herself, Elizabeth agrees to let Bette Davis reside with her during the course of a New York hotel strike.

Previews began Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 8PM and the official opening is tonight, July 24, 2013 at 8PM at the Snapple Theater Center (210 West 50th St.), in Manhattan. Mark S. Graham directs.
