The Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival is back, and it begins in less than three weeks' time. This year's festival, from July 28 to Aug. 6, will be all in-person, with a total of 20 shows in downtown Salt Lake City. 

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) continues its 2023 season in its third of four weeks with playwright Fernanda Coppel's AYA and a special, one night only presentation of Stephen Belber's What Do We Do With the Dead.

Terrific New Theatre (TNT), a local nonprofit dedicated to high-quality, cutting-edge theater, has announced that after three years of searching, it has acquired a downtown building to house its performance space and administrative operations. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the organization, which previously leased properties throughout its 37-year history in the Magic City.

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) announces its 2023 Season of New Plays, running Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM ET from June 29th-July 22nd at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts. For the second consecutive year, CCTP will highlight female voices, with workshops of staged readings by Steph Del Rosso (June 29-July 1), May Treuhaft-Ali (July 6-July 8), Fernanda Coppel (July 13-15) and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton (July 20-22).

​​​​​​​Pivot Arts, a hub for adventurous, multidisciplinary performance celebrating its 10th anniversary, presents the world premiere of The Memory Place, a multi-arts experience about cultural memory and hidden histories. Performances take place June 1–11 at The Edge Theater, 5451 N. Broadway, Chicago. Tickets are on sale at pivotarts.org.

M.A.D.D. Rhythms, Chicago's premier tap collective, continues its 22nd year with the Company's debut at the historic Auditorium Theatre, April 22, the return of National Tap Day Weekend, May 20 and 21, monthly tap jams, community events, classes and more.

Celebrating their 10th and final season, Third Eye Theatre Ensemble harkens back to their roots with a stirring and timely performance of Gian Carlo Menotti's The Consul.

BoHo Theatre will close out its 2022/2023 season with TICK, TICK…BOOM!, with music, lyrics, and book by the late Jonathan Larson, and directed by Bo Frazier. This production marks the company’s first musical since BIG FISH in 2019.

Strawdog Theatre Company is launching its 35th season with its holiday family favorite Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, returning for its fifth year. Based on the award-winning book by Eric Kimmel, Hershel is adapted by ensemble member Michael Dailey, with music and lyrics by Jacob Combs, direction by Hannah Todd.
