The Ringwald Theatre is proud to continue its Season of Classics with the Detroit premiere of Anne Washburn's MR. BURNS, A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY. 

Planet Ant Theatre will kick off its 2015-16 season September 25 with a new original comedy sequel Seance 13 featuring the original cast & crew from the 2011 hit Seance 4 in an all new horror spoof. The season continues through July 2016 with more original comedy, award winning published works and showcase shows from the winners of Box Fest and Colony Fest. The producers of BoxFest Detroit are pleased to announce BoxFest Detroit 2015, an annual theatre festival that showcases and creates opportunities for women directors. The festival runs Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons and evenings, August 21 - 29, at Planet Ant Theatre.

The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled to announce the 6th installment of its wildly popular Gay Play Series (GPS) and this year things are getting a remix as The Ringwald replaces its traditional One Act Play festival with a collection of mash-ups which will intertwine a variety of movies and music artists to create The Ringwald's Big Gay Mash-Up (for example:  My Fair Lady Gaga). The festival will also include a screening of gay TV classics.

The Ringwald Theatre is sounding a call for new, original one-act plays to be performed at their 5th annual GPS (Gay Play Series). The Detroit-area's only GLBT short play festival is striving to provide early-career writers the opportunity to see their work produced, giving them what is oft-needed exposure.
