America's Got Talent Finalist Dorothy Bishop returns to her monthly spot as an Artist in Residence at New York's #1 Jazz and Cabaret club, The Metropolitan Room, with her hilarious show 'The Dozen Divas.'

At a ceremony held last night in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2015 MAC Awards. The show was hosted by Karen Mason, with musical direction by Barry Levitt, and was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs will present the 29th Annual MAC Awards on Thursday, March 26st, at 7:30pm, at B.B King Blues Club & Grill in New York City.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! If you're wondering whether or not 2013 was a fantastic year for the cabaret art form in New York, all you have to do is scan the amazing list of nominees for this year's BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Awards and you'll know it was one of the best ever. So now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians, songs, and shows of the year. Voting will continue until Sunday night January 5 and the winners will be announced later that week. We hope that all the winners will be able to perform in the Award show on Sunday night February 23 at Joe's Pub.

Singer and comedian Dorothy Bishop is bringing her hilarious act to the decadent downstairs room at The Iguana, where on Monday, October 8 (8pm) she debuts DOZEN DIVAS, featuring Dorothy playing Lindsay playing Liz, Streisand singing Kei$ha, Christine mocking the Phantom, Mae West taking on Brittney Spears, and Kristin Chenoweth giving you the ultimate Broadway and TV voice lessons. The show is directed by James Jorden (Parterre.com) and co-hosted by the fresh-faced, barely legal Gregory Uliasz (Amigo Duende). DOZEN DIVAS will run at The Iguana every Monday thru December.

If any New York cabaret performers staging shows last Wednesday evening (July 11) found their audiences a bit sparse, it's probably Dana Lorge's fault. The endearing and ditzy entertainment diva's final weekly talent showcase at Iguana NYC Restaurant on West 54th Street (just east of the new 54 Below) didn't bring out every cabaret connected person in the city, but it sure seemed that way. And if MAC had a vote for 'Variety Show of the Year,' Lorge's last Iguana presentation would win in a landslide.

Voices in Unity share their musical diversity with selections ranging from Gospel to Broadway and Pop to Classical. The concert is put together by Music Director Britt Hall, who creates repertoire, dynamic medleys and selects guest artists to perform with the choir.
