The OBIE-winning HERE is thrilled to announce its annual CULTUREMART festival line-up. Running January 7 - 23, CULTUREMART makes process the focus, as the festival presents work in development from the exciting roster of the HERE Artist Residency Program HARP. This year's CULTUREMART slate features twelve multidisciplinary works that push the boundaries of dance, theater, music, new media, puppetry and visual art resulting in adventurous new forms. CULTUREMART 2011 takes place in both of HERE's theaters, the Mainstage and the Dorothy B. Williams Theater.

PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL will continue Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm through January 30th at The Vineyard's Dimson Theatre.

PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL will continue Saturdays and Sundays through December 5th at 1pm at The Theatre at Saint Peter's (home of the York Theatre Company). The show is appropriate for children ages 2 to 10. With music and sound as the driving force, this productionjourneys through the psychological landscape of the U.S., creating a theatrical reflection onrecording, location and culture. Border Towns is created and directed by HERE Resident ArtistNick Brooke, with co-direction by Jenny Rohn. Official Opening Night is set for Sunday,September 12 at 9:00 PM at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue).

The Walnut Street Theatre's 2009-2010 Independence Studio on 3 season concludes with an all-new production of Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart's genre-hopping tribute to some of Broadway's greatest: The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!).

It's a simple story - the young ingénue can't pay the rent, the evil landlord comes a calling, a wiser woman offers advice and the leading man offers to pay the rent. The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) presents five variations on this plot in the style of some of Broadway's best known musical theatre writers - Rodgers and Hammerstein (Corn), Stephen Sondheim (A Little Complex), Jerry Herman (Dear Abby), Andrew Lloyd Webber (Aspects of Junita), and Kander and Ebb (Speakeasy). To say more would ruin the hilarity.With its incredibly talented cast, hilarious writing and great tech, The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) provides a lot of laughter and ultimately, a wonderful night at the theater.

In a comic satire of musical theatre genres, one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim. The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) starts on May 4th, opens May 6th and continues through June 27th in the Walnut's Independence Studio on 3.
